The Hazard!
While unplugging from the wall or powerboard, the faceplate may separate from the body, exposing live parts and presenting a risk of electric shock.
If you are not certain that the power has been switched off, seek qualified help to confirm the power is off and to remove the transformer safely.
What to do...
Don't attempt to unplug, while the power source is still turned on. Make sure you switch off the power to the adapter before removing it from any outlets.
Targus is in the process of contacting all identified customers and asking them to provide the number of replacement units needed.
