KTM Motorcycle Distributors NZ Limited is recalling the HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES Cross Country model variants TX 300 and FX 350 because the rear brake caliper can be subjected to excessive stress in certain riding situations, and this can lead to the rear brake caliper assembly breaking.
Cracks or breaks in the rear brake caliper can result in a reduction or loss in braking performance which could increase the risk of an accident resulting in injury or death to the rider, passenger and/or others.
What to do...
Before continued use of the vehicle the rear brake caliper should be replaced at an authorised dealership.
Contact your local authorised dealer to schedule an appointment to have the rear brake caliper, including the caliper bracket, replaced free of charge.
