Sold at various baby product and auto retailers from December 2013 to February 2018 Diono car seats manufactured from November 2013: Olympia, Rainier, Radian R100, Radian RXT If you use your seat in rear-facing mode: No action required. If you use a top tether: No action required. If your child is under 29 kg and you use a Lap-Shoulder belt: No action required. If your child is under 29 kg and you only have the lap belt available you must either : -install the remedy kit, or -use the top tether. If your child is over 29 kg: You do not need the remedy kit, but you must to use the top tether or use in belt positioning booster mode.
The Hazard!
When the seats are secured using a lap belt without the top tether, children have an increased risk of chest or head injury in a crash.
What to do...
Connect the top tether or change to another approved installation method until the remedy kit is available and you can fit it to your seat.
