The Hazard!

There is an inconsistency between the circuit diagram and the wiring of a harness that is attached to the printed circuit board, posing a risk of electric shock to service technicians (only if no residual current device (RCD) is installed in the premises and the fuse on the printed circuit board blows).

What to do...

No action is required unless an affected unit requires servicing, where the wire harness will be replaced at no cost to the consumer during service activity.

Information on the process can be found on Daikin’s website https://www.daikin.co.nz/blogs/buyers-guide/rework, and you also can email rework@daikin.co.nz or through the webform on https://www.daikin.co.nz/pages/contact.
