The Hazard!
Britax is recalling the Britax B-Safe 35, B-Safe Gen2 and B-Safe Gen2 FlexFit Capsules because the carry handle may become loose and detach after extended use.
If the handle detaches while the capsule is being carried, it could cause the child to fall and be injured.
What to do...
Consumers should not carry the car seat by the carry handle until a remedy kit has been installed.
The seat may be carried if supported by the shell.
The issue does not impact the safety of the seat when properly secured in a motor vehicle or attached to a stroller.
Consumers should contact Britax to register their car seat and arrange a remedy kit.
