A batch of Baybetss Cozy 360 Rotating and Convertible Car Seat with ISOFIX model G405 car seats do not comply with the child restraint standards approved for use in New Zealand. This is because a batch of car seats intended for the Chinese market was incorrectly exported by the manufacturer to New Zealand and sold by Baby Way.

The ECE R44/04 approval and labels provided on these units was printed in a non-English language, which does not meet the requirements for use in New Zealand. The installation instruction labels on the side of the car seat are in Chinese and not in English as required.

Users may not understand how to install the car seat correctly which could pose a safety risk.
