The Hazard!
WU-ES7 ballasts supplied in WU-UV100, and WU-UV200 systems between April 2023 and April 2024 may present a potential short circuit that may result in personal injury or property damage - reported issues include tripping power on start-up, short-circuiting on start-up, or after a period of use.
Some ballasts may present with emitting smoke or sparks when short-circuiting, posing a risk of shock and fire.
What to do...
Isolate from mains power and remove the plug from the power outlet.
Contact Puretec to arrange a replacement ballast.
