The Hazard!

Certain Blade, Magma, Elle and Jade bicycle helmets sold since January 2015 do not pass roll-off tests under the European CE standard, an approved standard in New Zealand under the Land Transport (Road User) Rule 2004. As a result, the detaching strap anchorage may cause the helmet to come off during secondary impact.

What to do...

If a customer is aware they have an affected LAZER helmet, they should contact the retailer they purchased the helmet from as soon as possible to arrange a replacement free of charge. If a customer is uncertain of whether their LAZER helmet is affected, they should stop using their helmet immediately and visit the retailer they purchased the product from as soon as possible to have the product checked. Customers with any questions or concerns should visit the LAZER website, www.lazersport.com, for contact details and further information.
