AC adapter for Epson “Perfection” scanners
- Sold from 2010 to 2013

Product Identifiers

Sold from January 2010 to December 2013 at Officeworks, Ingram Micro, Noel Leeming, PhotoWarehouse, Synnex and Progear. The relevant adapters were sold with the following Epson “Perfection” scanners V30, V300 Photo, V33, V330 Photo, V37 and V370 and were sold as stand alone parts Epson AC adapter model EADP-16CB E manufactured from January 2010 to August 2012 - identification numbers can be checked on Epsons website. Any Scanner or AC adapter sold (new) after January 2014 is unaffected.

The Hazard!

The AC adapters may overheat, melt or ignite potentially causing smoke, odour and deformation to the DC plug which can result in damage to the scanner and could result in an electrical fire.

What to do...

Stop using the AC adapter and visit Epson’s website or call the customer help line to check if your scanners adapter is impacted by the action and for instructions for how to obtain a replacement AC adapter.
