The Hazard!
The plastic casing of the unit’s electrical box does not meet the requirements for fire containment as required by AS/NZS 60335-1.
What to do...
Carrier is replacing the plastic casing with a higher quality more heat resistant plastic that meets AS/NZS 60335-1.
If you have not already heard from them contact your installer/distributor to organise the new plastic casing to be installed.
