There is a possibility for the battery positive lead to be pinched between the seat base and the seat bracket and resulting in a circuit short. The battery positive lead wire is too long and over a period of time the wire insulation may be worn away to expose the core wires. If not rectified immediately, the possibility of fire under the seat could result.
