Volvo Cars investigations have identified that some of the bolts holding the inflatable curtain in place are affected by a manufacturing error that can cause the bolt head to detach, subsequently not fully holding the inflatable curtain in place. In the cause of an accident the functionality of the inflatable curtain can be decreased. The corrective action will be to inspect and replace affected bolts.
