On vehicles of a limited production period a welded connection of the rear seat bench may not always have been correctly performed. As a result, in an accident the head restraint of the rear seat backrest in your vehicle may not be fully effective. On these vehicles the welding of the mountings must be checked and if necessary, the affected backrest frame replaced.
