Toyota RAV4, Vanguard, Model years 2005-2016

The affected vehicles are equipped with 3-point lap-shoulder belt assemblies in both outboard seating positions of the second row seats. In the event of a high-speed collision there is a possibility that the lap belt could contact the seat cushion frame. If this occurs, the seat belt webbing may get cut and separate which will not properly restrain the occupant. This could increase the risk of injury to an occupant in the event of a crash.
