SUBARU IMPREZA, LEGACY, Various years 2004-2010

Subaru of New Zealand have been informed by SUBARU CORPORATION that the fuel pump harness connector may heat up and/or melt on some Grey Market Legacy/Outback models and Grey Market Impreza models, which causes the fuel pump to become inoperative. If this happens it may lead to a non-start or engine stall situation. The fuel pump wiring harness between the pump and upper housing will be replaced during initial inspection. The fuel flange connector and body harness connector for the fuel pump must also be inspected. The result of these inspections will determine the methods of repair.
