The Hazard!

The hot water bottles do not comply with the Unsafe Goods (Hot Water Bottles) Permanent Prohibition Notice 2016 because they are missing the required BS1970:2012 marking label. The missing mandatory BS1970:2012 marking label may lead to confusion with consumers around as to whether their hot water bottles are safe.

What to do...

Under the Unsafe Goods (Hot Water Bottles) Permanent Prohibition Notice 2016 it is illegal to give away or sell your hot water bottle. Refunds are available from stores where purchased for any consumers that wish to return the non-compliant hot water bottles. To confirm hot water bottles are safe consumers should only purchase hot water bottles with the BS1970:2012 marking label.
