This is an amendment to the affected vehicles in the previous recall campaign that was launched globally in 2013 and 2014. It has been identified that the airbag inflators may have been manufactured out of specification. Due to moisture absorption over time, the inflator propellant wafers may create excessive pressure in the inflator housing during deployment. As a result, there is a possibility of abnormal deployment. In rare cases, the inflator housing may rupture and the metal fragments may scatter.
