Under certain driving conditions with the accelerator pedal released and below 2000 rpm in conjunction with automatic shifts from high to low gears, it is possible that the estimation of the fuel flow through the purge valves made by the engine software may lead to a irregularity of the idle with consequent possible engine stall event without warning. The engine can switch off at low rpm therefore compromising the servo steering and brake booster functionalities. However, it is still possible to restart the engine after the problem occurrence.
