The Hazard!

Subject - 4CS Forks MY2015 (Identified to vin range) Due to a change in production process, the threaded connection between the piston rod and screw cap may not be sufficiently tight. If the piston rod detaches from the screw cap, this will result in damage to the inside of the fork. The fork may seize as a result. The result can mean an effect on the bikes handling and operation which could cause a safety issue to riders or others .

What to do...

The vehicle should not be ridden until inspected by an Authorised KTM dealer. Please contact a KTM dealer to arrange a booking and inspection. Customers will be sent a recall notification letter specific to the information and the urgent requirement to have our dealer check the vehicle.
