On the effected vehicles, the front brake hoses may be prone to rupture and could fail under certain operating conditions. A failure of the front brake hoses could lead to one or more of the following symptoms: A loss of brake fluid; illumination of the brake fluid warning indicator in the instrument cluster; increased brake pedal travel; Extended stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash.
