Ducati Multistrada 1200, Model years 2015-2016

Ducati Motor Holding Spa has undertaken to commence a voluntary vehicle safety recall affecting a specific VIN range of Ducati Motorcycles belonging to the Multistrada 1200 and 1200S family model year 2015 and 2016. This recall campaign comprises the inspection and if necessary replacements of the side stand, responsible for sustaining the parked motorcycle in a stationary upright position. The modification of the motorcycles affected is necessary as a preventive measure as due to a fault in the manufacturing process the side stand could break at the weld that joins the stand tube with the forged section that acts like an upper joint, leading to a possible fall of the stationary motorcycle.
